Europeana Foundation is the operator of Europeana, the platform for digital cultural heritage presided over by the European Union. By the end of 2018, more than 3,500 libraries, museums and archives from 37 countries have participated in the construction of the project since 2005, and more than 58 million items are made available through its website. The project aims to support the digital transformation of the cultural heritage sector and provides a convenient one-stop service for users all over the world to trustworthy collections.
